Full review of Moosend
Founded in 2011, Moosend is an affordable email marketing platform used by companies of all sizes, from startups to Fortune 500 companies. With an easy-to-use interface, intuitive automation and advanced list segmentation, Moosend provides the robust set of tools needed to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
The company has an intuitive user interface that is easy to navigate and quick for newcomers to master. Creating marketing campaigns is extremely easy, with an intuitive drag-and-drop editor that makes it easy to create compelling emails from scratch. There are over 40 different templates built into Moosend, although this is limited compared to AWeber's 700+ templates and Constant Contact's 100+ templates.
Moosend includes advanced automation features in all of its plans, even for free trial accounts. Moosend automation uses a visual workflow builder that includes subscriber welcome emails, cart abandonment reminders and even lead counts. There is also a library of "recipes" (predefined automation tools) that can help you save time in the setup process. We really like that Moosend provides all of its functionality in all of its plans compared to some of its competitors who charge extra for some of their more advanced features.
While Moosend offers many email features, the software is not designed to be an all-in-one marketing solution. Sign-up forms are extremely simple and must be customized using code, and the built-in features are very limited. Moosend also does not offer additional marketing tools such as landing pages, which means you can combine Moosend with other systems to meet your needs.
Although Moosend is a small company compared to some of its more well-known competitors, its affordable pricing structure lends itself to companies with limited budgets, while its range of industry-leading email features ensures that you don't have to compromise on functionality.
